Rangeley Lumberjack Plaid Hat This hat pattern is made with a bulky/chunky yarn using four colors. One for the ribbing and three for the "buffalo" plaid. Needles: US#8 and US#10 16' circular needles. This hat uses a unique crochet provisional cast on and tubular beginnings or just use a long tail cast-on. Both instructions are included. The plaid is created using simple stranded color work. A great pattern for adventurous beginner or intermediate knitter.
